Hole No 9 - 362m Par 4
Take a moment to look at
this hole from the white markers to fully appreciate the drama
of the setting. There is plenty of fairway out on the left, short
of the bunkers, and that side opens up the approach shot. Besides
the prevailing breezes will tend to push drives to the right and
OB. A good shot will leave only a short approach shot to another
big long green. Too much backspin on pitch shots to the sloping
front part may result in shots rolling back into the fairway,
so the short front pin position may be more difficult than the
seemingly better-defended rear right position.
