Rules & Dress Code at Aphrodite Hills Golf
Starting times - are at 8-minute intervals. Flights are
made up as 4 balls, therefore players booking 2 or 3 balls must
expect to be paired up with another group. Please follow the starter’s
and marshal’s instructions.
Buggies - this is a buggy only golf course. Buggies must
be kept strictly on the paths at all times. Drivers must be minimum
16 years of age. NO exceptions will be made to this rule.
Handicap certificates - Maximum for men: 28, ladies 36.
The starter/marshal has the right to direct certain players to
play from forward tees if deemed to be holding up play. Players
who do not have the stipulated level of play may be asked to leave
the course, with no refund given.
Dress code - trousers made of denim material, tracksuits
and tennis wear are not allowed. Men’s shorts must be at
least of Bermuda length. Men’s socks must be at least of
ankle length. Men’s shirts must have collars and long or
short sleeves. Ladies t-shirts without collar must have sleeves.
Ladies t-shirts with collar may be sleeveless.
Metal spikes - are not allowed anywhere within Clubhouse
or golf course. They can be changed to soft spikes at a cost.
No exception will be made for shoes with non-removable spikes.
Tennis shoes and trainers are not considered golf dress.
Lockers - are available in the changing rooms. A deposit
of £1.00 CYP will be payable at the Pro shop, in the event
of a lost key the deposit will be non refundable.
Club Cleaning - will be undertaken by the staff before
depositing golf clubs in the client’s car. There will be
No Charge for this service and is purely discretionary.
Food & Beverages - it is Club Policy that only food
and beverage purchased at the Club may be consumed or possessed
within the Club premises, including the golf course. The bringing
in of food or beverage from outside the Club for consumption within
the Club is strictly prohibited. The Clubhouse Restaurant is available
for all food & beverage requirements both on and off the golf
course.
Course Closure - will be deemed closed when the golf course
superintendent, 1st assistant to the superintendent or Director
of Golf officially close the course because of inclement weather.
Alternative golf arrangements thereafter can be made at the Pro
shop.
