Aries: March 21 - Apr 19
Aries are easily bored, full of curiosity and seek constant changes in equipment to gain any edge offered by the latest technology. Like the Ram, Aries golfers are sometimes quick-tempered and they have to struggle to maintain their cool on the course after a bad shot. They work harder than most at this because they know that to re-focus and follow up with a good shot is a test of their true character. Aries golfers have a tendency to aspire to be number one in everything they do. They are inspired by good play, often raising their game to a new level when in the company of good players. Caution does not concern the Aries golfer and "laying up" is not in their vocabulary. They are always courageous, enjoying the challenge of the toughest courses.

Taurus: Apr 20 - May 20
Ruled by Venus, Taurus golfers are methodical and tenacious, possessing the ability to focus energy toward the realization of their goals. A tendency to be a bit stubborn works in their favour as they are persistent and get things done. On the course they almost never give up and the game isn't over till the last putt drops. They take special pleasure in luxurious surroundings and places, love to travel and usually seek the best places to play. Due to their powers of endurance, Taurus golfers continually practice and you will find them on the lesson tee more often than not. Sometimes they would rather beat balls than play! Gemini: May 21 - June 20
The Gemini golfer is greatly influenced by the dual nature of his "twin" personality. Persistent, creative urges struggle against a desire to be conventional and enthusiasm is moderated by caution. Despite these contrary emotions, Gemini achieves great success in golf.
Ruled by Mercury, Gemini can be impatient and their inquisitive nature recognizes no "out of bounds". Because they are so energetic they often find themselves involved in several projects at once. They are capable of breaking down their swing into manageable segments and will focus on each with the same devotion when working on improvement. However, a Gemini has to make special efforts to control his nerves. Their mind works so fast that the body sometimes can't keep up and they can literally trip over their own feet.

Cancer: June 21 - July 22
The Cancer golfer may appear to be sensitive and shy but secretly craves the limelight and dreams often of achieving fame and fortune. Leo: July 23 - Aug 22
The Leo golfer is warm, (ruled by the Sun) generous and open-minded. They hold their head up high, as does the Lion, proud symbol of their sign. They walk with a special style, talk with gestures and are very particular about their looks. They are players that exhibit an energetic spirit that may be irritating to others with less-than-sunny dispositions. Their movements are precise and deliberate but not painstakingly so. When a Leo addresses the ball you won't see a bunch of jerky waggles and an eternity of practice swings before the ball is sent on its way. If all golfers were as decisive as Leo's, the three-hour round would become the national average!
Leos are generous with their time and energy and love to teach others what they know. They make great golf teachers and some of the game's foremost instruction gurus are Leos. The Leo golfer is motivated by an intense desire to improve their game at all levels and does not hesitate to tackle a swing problem, even if it occurs in the middle of a round. Even-tempered unless aroused, Leos are great competitors and are considered to be among the most consistent ball-strikers.

Virgo: Aug 23 - Sept 22
Ruled by Mercury, you are earthy and courageous with a pronounced tendency toward mental toughness and discipline in your professional life. However, at leisure you have a disposition ruled by a rather large "sweet spot" in your nature that any club would envy! Competitive but compassionate are words that describe your approach and you are able to appreciate the great shots made by your opponents.
Your great passion is golf and any apprehensions about your swing that you may experience occasionally will give way to the confidence of the Virgo personality. Your attention to detail and strong desire to avoid mistakes will make you a competent player most times you tee it up. Solid course management and patience are some key elements in the approach taken by Virgo golfers and your ability to think your way around a course will help you avoid the big numbers that can spoil a round.
