Hole No 1 - 394m Par 4
An early introduction to
the archaeological ruins around the course. An 18th century kiln
lies in the center of the landing area, and although a free drop
zone, it asks the question on the tee. Left of the kiln appears
more open, although the second must carry some trees to the green.
The slope of the narrower right side out toward the bunker should
deflect the well-struck drive into the best spot for the approach.
Despite large bunkers left and right, the entrance to this big
green is open and will accept run-in shots.
